You guys, I’ve never been so excited for January. We’re moving to a house we love next week, I’m headed to my happy place for a ski vacation at the end of January, and I’ll be following THIS Whole30 meal plan all month!! It’s time. I love Christmas, but I’m always ready to get back on track and cut back on cookies and wine. Or in this case, completely rid my body of all cookies and wine.
I’ve teamed up with Jessica from Jay’s Baking Me Crazy and Michele from Paleo Running Momma to create a menu you will LOVE!!! I’m so pumped about it because I’ll be doing this along with you. And somehow I even convinced the hubster to follow. Things may get interesting next week while we’re moving, but I’ll keep you posted! If you are new to Whole30, or have no clue what I’m talking about, I urge you to check out the Whole30 website to get familiar with the program. As a nutritionist, I do not recommend “diets” but more lifestyle changes. I make one exception, and that is with Whole30. I think it’s a fabulous way to re-set your body, cleanse, eat real food, and alter the way you taste food. You will come out feeling great, and get rid of those cravings for sweets. Which most of us need after December!
To set you up for success, be sure to have basic pantry items you will be using throughout the 30 days! This “must have” pantry list is super helpful. Also, keep munchies such as fresh veggies, fruits, nuts, for those many times you will be hungry (trust me). Always keep on hand to help with snacking:
Tahini Dressing (can be used to dip veggies or for salads)
Creamy Avocado Dressing (can be used for salads or a dip)
The plan. Below you will find links to all recipes that are tried and true reader favorites and Whole30 approved. The breakfasts are just a few ideas to use throughout the week; some are more time consuming, but are great treats for the weekend. Others can be made ahead and refrigerated as “grab and go” breakfasts when you have a busy morning. Instead of listed by day, they are lumped together for the week. Dinners and lunches are specific to the day. Some dinners will have plenty of leftovers for another night or lunch. Some lunches can also be made ahead on the weekends for easy planning. All meals with a *** means you can make them ahead on the weekends to use throughout the week!

I just signed up and received a mailing with photos of various dishes. Sorry but I really get grossed out when I see anything with meat, and this first photo was of a paleo breakfast.
Is there any way I can sign up for only vegetarian and/or vegan dishes? I’d love to get recipies, and the kale pomegranate salad with tahini dressing was amazing. But I really only want that type of dish. Many thanks.
Hi Arlene, unfortunately there is nothing I can do about separating the emails. I used to be a vegetarian so I know how you feel. I do post a mixture of both plant based recipes and recipes with meat. I would recommend looking at the title of the email and just deleting before opening if the recipe has meat.
