For the oven: preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper. Prepare the jalapeno peppers by slicing in half lengthwise, then removing seeds. Place the peppers on the baking sheet.
In a medium bowl, combine the almond flour, cilantro, green onion, egg, chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and chipotle powder. Now mix in the turkey.
Spoon 1 to 2 tbsp of the turkey mixture into each pepper. Wrap the peppers in a slice of bacon, secure with a toothpick if needed.
Arrange the jalapenos on the baking sheet and transfer to the oven. Bake for approximately 25 minutes, or until turkey is cooked through and bacon is crisp.
For the air-fryer: Place the jalapeno poppers in the bottom of the basket. You will need to cook these in 2 batches. Cook at 370 degrees for 12-15 minutes (depending on the air-fryer). Check at the 12 minute mark to see if the poppers are done cooking.
Serve plain, or with ranch dressing.
