Crispy Air Fryer Artichoke Hearts

These Air Fryer Artichoke Hearts have a crispy and crunchy coating and are dipped into a spicy ranch! Such a fun appetizer and one that comes together in less than 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz jar of marinated artichoke hearts
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp milk (can use dairy-free)
  • 1 cup blanched almond flour
  • 1/2 cup finely diced pecans
  • 3 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing* (for dipping)

Instructions

  • Drain the artichoke hearts and gently pat dry with a paper towel. Transfer to a bowl or plate.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the egg with milk.
  • In a seperate shallow dish, mix together the almond flour, pecans, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and sea salt.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F. Using a fork or a toothpick, dip in the egg mixture, then the flour/nut mixture. Place the artichoke hearts in a single layer in the air fryer.
  • Cook for 7 minutes at 390, then flip and cook another 4-5 minutes.
