Raspberry Peach Green Smoothie makes a delicious and nutritious breakfast combining summer fruit with greens. A perfect drink for a hot summer day!
Are you looking for more nutritious breakfast ideas for yourself or family? Or maybe an afternoon snack to hold you over before dinner? This smoothie is refreshing, packed full of nutrients, kid friendly, and of course, very yummy. My kids have been enjoying this one all week with their breakfast. I use almond milk as a base to make it dairy free, but loaded with calcium and protein. Frozen raspberries, fresh bananas, fresh peaches, and fresh spinach leaves are blended with the milk. Finally, I add in chia or hemp seeds to give the smoothie an omega-3 boost. Omega 3’s are lacking in most standard American diets, and this is especially true for kids. Chia seeds added to any baked good or smoothie is an easy way to boost your Omega 3’s. If you’ve read any of my other breakfast posts, you would know how I incorporate vegetables with every meal. This smoothie is a perfect way to get your kids to enjoy their veggies in the morning!
Because this smoothie is dairy free, it is also Vegan, Paleo, and naturally Gluten-Free. And why not try it as a dessert? Happy blending!
